Lag, WoW and Your DPS

Since I’m going to be focussing quite a lot on restoration this week (or rather, some hints and tips for the dual spec elemental shaman’s out there), it’s only fair I give some advertising to an amazing post made by Charles over at Planet of the Hats

Ever wondered why some players with near identical gear will still have quite significant differences in their DPS output? Did you ever consider the impact that your latency could be having upon your own damage potential?

I thoroughly recommend heading over and taking a look at his post on Lag, WoW and You.

As a suggestion you could add some information for elemental shammys that will have to spec restoration for Valithria. I still don’t know if earth shield / glyph of lesser healing wave spamming lesser healing wave is better than using healing wave for max heals. I beat our pally healer most of the time so I must be doing something right.

      Hiya!

Thanks for the suggestion and I will certainly try to incorporate something into the healing articles this week 🙂 (though my own resto skills are a little rusty these days :()
